Friday night was a fun and crazy night. Desiree and I were spending our 20th birthday together with our friends at Aria's Tuscan Grill. First I'll say this, the restaurant had the worst customer service ever, and I mean the worst ever! The staff was rude and paid us no attention, they brought out the food individually, so some of us didn't even get the time to eat all our food, and the place tried to stiff us on the tip. Basically, they tried to include the tip with our food and then had the nerve to ask for another tip and charge for gratuity, but you know mean I had to figure out where my money was going because I wasn't going to pay after the service we got and how tasteless the food was. The waiter tried to pull a fast one by trying to walk away with the money, so I ended up going to the next waiter to help us out, but she herself wasn't much help, so I asked for the manager. The manager ended up break it down for us and ended up reducing the price because of how awful the customer service was. It was the worst experience I've ever encountered at a restaurant. It made me realize that upscale restaurants sometimes don't look out for the customer, but instead try to profit off of them.

Beside our encounter with the waiters, managers, and cooks, we ended up having a good time. I met some new friends of Desiree's and I must say they were so sweet and kind. Tyana was a pleasure and everyone else was a delight to be around. Although the night had its twists and turns, I did miss my family. This was the first time I spent my birthday without my family. But, I knew they were with me in spirit! That night were tried to take photos but it ended up being super cold outside, so we were reduced to take photos in the restaurant and some quick shots outside the restaurant. If I could do it all again, I would, but I would pick a different place to spend my birthday at, somewhere more relaxed, more chill, and less bougie.
